MARINE CIVIL ENGINEERING - DESIGN AWARDS

Three projects on which Wallace Stone were entirely responsible for the design have been selected for Design Commendations by the Saltire Society in association with the Institution of Civil Engineers:-

Peterhead Harbour, South Bay Development, Albert Quays, for the Peterhead Harbour Trustees.

Glensanda Harbour, Loading Quay, for Yeoman (Morvern) Ltd

Ardveenish Fish Pier, for The Western Isles Council.

In addition the Sound of Barra Ferry Scheme, on which we were designers of major elements of the Eriskay Causeway, the Causeway Bridge and the overnight ferry berth at Ceann a Gharaidh received commendations for both design and construction from the Saltire Society in association with the Institution of Civil Engineers.
